Story

Get to Know Missy

Hi, I am Missy Baldwin, the owner of Wonderfully Made Postpartum. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor in Hudson, Wisconsin. In 2022-2023 I took a break from doula-ing and went back to school to get a bachelors degree in Human Lactation to get on track for becoming an iBCLC. A year in to my classes my university went downhill and is now on the verge of closing. While I should have felt upset or mad, I felt relief. I didn't want to be an IBCLC, I wanted to teach families about breastfeeding before they even began. I am a strong believer in learning about breastfeeding and all that comes with it before you even give birth. I made the decision to get certified as a Lactation Educator which I am working on now. I also wanted to be there for families during their postpartum period as a postpartum doula and breastfeeding counselor.
